ACarter & Sons was
started in August 2001 by Alan Carter and his two sons Jason Carter and
Dean Carter.
Although our company
history is short Alan has been involved in transport since March 1968
his first 12 years as an owner driver doing interstate contracts to
Metters then McPhee Transport and then Mercedes Benz Australia.
For the next 21 years Alan was in sales at McPhee Transport with
the last 10 years as sales manager.
Alan left McPhee
Transport in June 2001 with a vision to start his own Transport
Business with and for his two sons to carry forward his knowledge,
experience and business principals accrued during his previous 33 years.
In 2006 after much
success in the High Profile High Security transport industry along
with customer demand ACarter & Sons also branched into
Warehousing and storage for some of their existing customers, this has
proven and grown to be a very succesful division within ACarter &
Sons with the company now having a 6,000 square meter fully
functional 3pl operation.
